Elijah Craig question

I was at a local upscale restaurant eating at the bar recently. Apparently it was happy hour for old fashions. The bourbon they used was Elijah Craig. Where does it fit amongst bourbons. Maybe a rank 1 - 10? How does it compare to Makers Mark?

Elijah Craig Small batch is good. I would rank it close to Makers Mark.
I would say Makers 46 is certainly better.
Now, if you were to get your hands on a Elijah Craig Barrel Proof, depending on the batch, you could really have a nice bottle.

sold one to a friend what I paid for it.
I thought it was a little overhyped, a little hot and I normally enjoy 120-135 but this one seemed like it was 140-150. LOL

Bourbon can be confusing. Elijah Craig has several different Bourbons. So do most distilleries. Most have a very affordable Bourbon to a very expensive Bourbon. I like the Wild Turkey line of products. That's the fun of it trying different ones.

Bourbon yuck, if that was the only alcohol drink made, I would have never experienced getting drunk my first time...

We went on a trip along the bourbon trail a couple of years ago. Visited lots of known distilleries and had tastings. I wanted to develop a tongue for bourbon as i hadn’t been fond of it since i got sick on rebel yell and coke when i was 18.
It didn’t work. My tongue prefers scotch.
