Durham Bulls Stadium is Duke’s Home Stadium!

Duke has its coaches offices, team clubhouse, and dressing room in the Durham Stadium. Duke can play up to 36 home games at the Bulls stadium and hold a limited number of practices at the stadium. I guess the ACC calls this a neutral site. Since the stadium is Duke’s home stadium they can use the stadium in recruiting. Seems like Duke has quite an advantage having the tournament in their home stadium.

I went to the Duke-Clemson series in 2016 at Duke.

It was played on their campus.

Their home facility seats about 800 people and they didn't even fill it for a big series against Clemson.

The idea of Duke playing more than a couple of home games a year at the Bulls stadium would be silly. They can't draw 800 fans to a home game.

Not sure there is anything to worry about concerning any advantages Duke baseball might enjoy no matter where they play.

I think they just moved into their coaches offices and team facility this year. They drew about 4,500 for NC, a team that had to travel 8 miles to get there.

Okay ... I can see a nice crowd for a rivalry game versus UNC.

I'd imagine the turnout for Duke versus practically anyone else would probably look pitiful in Durham Bulls Stadium.
