For anyone who isn’t aware. The Presbyterian College Blue Hose are currently tied for the longest active win streak in D-1 football (8 games dating back to last season), and are ranked in the FCS top 25 for the first time in their Division 1 history.
To begin the year the Blue Hose went on the road and upset the previous two Southern Conference Champions in Mercer and Furman University. PC opened the season with a stunning 15-10 road win over #11 ranked Mercer, the highest ranked victory in program history. The Hose followed this up by beating Furman University 39-38 in OT, completing a diving catch in the back of the end zone on the 2pt try to win the game. The Hose have also handled business versus Division II Erskine College 42-14. This was followed by incinerating NAIA Bluefield University 76-3 last week, which put the Blue Hose at 4-0 for the second time in school history and the first time since 1959 (the last two quarters of this game were actually shortened to 12 minutes each as the Hose were up 57-3 at half).
PC currently ranks 6th in FCS football in yards per game at 494.
This is all while being a member of the Pioneer Football League, the only non-scholarship football-only NCAA FCS conference.
PC is currently hosting Morehead State, and is up 21-0 early in the 2nd quarter (on ESPN+)
As a lifelong Clemson football fan, as well as a recent Presbyterian College Alumni, I thought that the accomplishments that are occurring down in Clinton SC should be acknowledged.
Go Tigers… and Sco’ Hose!

I graduated from PC in 2003 while still DII and was excited for the move up to I-AA but it probably wasn't the best move but this season has been fun to keep up with as coach Englehart has been building the program back up from some pretty tough times between bringing in the high school coach that never punts and always kicks onside kicks (which was a worse move than moving up from DII) and then becoming nonscholarship.

He's been gone for several years. That season was a train wreck. College is not the time to kick only onside kicks and not punt. He needed to stick to high school.

They were miserable my entire 4 years of school. Started to turn things around the moment I graduated. Funny how things work

Live in Laurens and very aware. Unbelievable turnaround for PC program. Must be some way with academic money and grants to attract these athletes. Great job!

Was amazed to learn several years ago Bo Schembechler was an assistant coach at PC in 1954.

Awesome! My granddaddy played on the OL for them in the early thirties, he would be proud.
