He threw for over 300. As a team we rushed for 70ish. And he wasn’t on Defense for them to March right down the field twice after having a 10 pt lead in the 4th qtr

he was torn up every game for doing the same as Cade except cade has even more disastrous plays.
I guess it's because we now realize the problems go deeper than just QB while back then it was easy to lay it all on simply QB

I'd grade him a B-. Made some good throws. Needs to learn what intentional grounding is. And how to not take a safety (which it was.)
Clemson's just not very good anymore.

They will blame Cade right up until he takes Texas A&M to the CFP next year. DJU at Oregon State has proven it clearly is not the QB play that is killing Clemson. Defense is still playoff caliber, but not as deep as in previous years. That can't last with the continued failures on offense and lack of NIL $$$.

Defense is playoff caliber?? A true freshman in his first start beat us. We gave up 200+ yds rushing.
Cade is good if he can hit his first read within a sec. Otherwise he’s very avg.

He makes some of the dumbest/weirdest decisions ever. The coulda been safety was insane. You have to have SOME awareness of where you are and time situation. Let me drift into the end zone while taking on a d-lineman. ARE YOU EVEN THINKING?!? And he doesn’t understand getting out of the pocket and just throwing the ball away. He plays hero-ball at times and that’s gonna get him injured or even more fumbles. I like Cade and look forward to seeing him develop, but the guy has to process the simple stuff better. But there isn’t a magic wand anyone can wave to speed up the process.
