Don we need Wake to lose tonight

Not win. BC beating Wake is very unlikely.
NCSU can lose either or both of their last two. A 3 way tie would go to the highest ranked and we would have the least detrimental loses with UGA, Pitt, and NCSU and our ranking should note that. Or we could beat NCSU (already lost to Miami) straight up by them having 3 conference losses. Maybe just have to have Wake lose 1 then beat them.

In my opinion we need wake to win. There is a better chance for wake to lose on the road at BC than Nancy State to lose there last two home games - Syracuse and UNC

UNC is more likely to beat Nacy than BC beat Wake.

Also, Nancy will have 2 more opportunities to lose, not that I believe in 'Cuse at all but from a nu.bers perspective.

Wake's loss last week was not a conference game.

You are incorrect regarding tie breaker going to highest ranked team. We lose to NC State if it goes to a tie breaker with State.

Because Nacy would have both 3 way Ws. If we all split then it goes to highest ranked.

SU which would be a requirement if NCSU wins tonight. NCSU wins a 3 way tiebreaker. NCSU has a decent shot at losing to Wake and UNC though which means if WF loses to us and BC, we would take the division. Don’t count out BC. It’s a November game up there. They just got their starting qb back and he is a good pro prospect. He had been out since week 3. They beat VT his first game back.

Was just looking at the numbers when I posted the OP.

Can they not just lose to UNC? I don't think the division matters. If 'Cuse can beat NCSU then UNC will, too. So we could be talking a 2 way with Wake and us beating them. That is the best scenario, imo. Expecting BC and 'Cuse to both win the last game is asking an awful lot, imo.
