And I’m not just saying this because it’s gamecock fans but it truly is pathetic to see.
Beamer, who they have propped up and boasted about for a while now, finally gets them two massive wins and gets their momentum going. Yes whether we as Clemson fans like to admit it or not, they do have momentum.
And how do these Gamecock fans respond to his possible OC hire? With almost unilateral vitriol rather than choosing to trust Beamer, the coach who has all the positive momentum going for them.
I have seen Gamecock fans going as far as saying they are done with the program thanks to the hire. Just utterly pathetic stuff.

Correct and some of our "fans" are losing their minds over a 11-2 conference championship season saying we should fire coaches. Seems the gamecock fans are not alone in terms of being pathetic

They have always, for some unknown reason, think they are an elite program. Only the best should consider coaching there. One conference championship in over a hundred years ? Really !!

SC loses an OC. "Beamer can't hire a good staff. He's a bum."
Fans who live on the emotional roller coaster tend to gravitate to message boards. Ohio State, Bama, UGA, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, et. al.

But they did lose to Missouri, who lost to Auburn. Auburn lost to Arkansas, who lost to Liberty. Liberty lost to UCONN, who lost to Ball State. Ball State lost to Western Michigan, who lost to Northern Illinois.
Northern Illinois only won 3 games all year. By Coot logic, Northern Illinois beat South Carolina and is the ACC champion.

The fact that our rival fanbase thinks we should support Beamer is all I need to know that he's not the right guy for the job.
If you guys hated him, like we hated Dabo, it would be a sign he's the guy.

in two years he has you guys playin gmuch better and recruiting has improved and hes also using the portal..recruiting lacked under muschamp and there was very little if any improvement

Just wonder how all you USuC fans will react should Virginia Tech make a play for Beamer in the next couple of years. There is starting to be a growing chorus of VT people who want to have Shane Beamer take over their program.

Weird take. I hated Muschump because he was a dichhead person, not because he was y'alls coach. I only despise people over their personalities, not who they coach for. Beamer is an alright guy who takes too much criticism from your awful fanbase, which y'all should realize is a program that is a laughing stock that has done nothing of relevance in it's lifespan. Cut the guy some slack. He wants to be there, appreciate it because there aren't many who want to coach at that shathole and polish it up.

Meltdown is their default setting at this point. The needle occasionally pegs at optimistic in the preseason but by game 5 its usually at its default setting again. They just had their most successful run beating 2 highly ranked teams in a row and they're already back to default. Its just their thing.
