If Clemson does go to the B1G, these two sports could be great additions. We live in Rock Hill and got to Checkers

Clemson would be in big trouble in both of those sports. Minnesota and Iowa have dominant Wrestling programs and almost every team in the Big Ten has an incredible Hockey team.
FYI, Clemson has an intramural wrestling and hockey program. I have seen the hockey team play before at Bon Secours Arena. Don't know much about the wrestling team. I heard they proactice off campus.

Not so sure about that. My son wrestled in High School and the south has talent. Unfortunately all the wrestling schools are in the north. If there was a southern option, these kids could stay local.

Were trouble makers when I was at CU. Smaller guys with waaaay too much aggression to assimilate into students. Mostly from N of the MD Line, so didn’t relate to the culture.
I made friends with several of them so that I never had any bad experiences, but they were known to g downtown and pick fights for sport.
That and it being considered a yankee sport made its elimination somewhat painless.
We once had a great fencing team but I never hear about that - a much more genteel crowd.

My roommate was a student cop at Clemson and he told me many stories about the wrestler's mayhem. One got arrested for trying to stuff a bicycle into a basketball hoop in the frat quad, then after being detained at the station, he poured salt into the officer's coffee. Incorrigible, I think is the word for these guys.

Charlotte Checkers are fun to watch. Been there to see them vs. Grroowl when the Grroowl were still around.

They do.
My son wrestled in High School and they had several tournaments there also. It's what got me thinking about the two sports if Clemson were to go to B1G

Regarding Rasslin, we just need to train our guys on:
-hair pulling
-eye gouging
- how to throw pepper flakes in the opponents eyes
-give our guy a manager wearing a tuxedo and carrying a folding metal chair to distract/hit the ref while our guy does the first three to the opponent.
-Let our guys take turns wearing the mask.
This should get us near the top of the conference as a minimum.
