The coots are in a state of constant disarray.
The small amount of success they did achieve under Spurrier can be attributed to the fact that Georgia , Florida and Tennessee all simultaneously strained significantly just to finish at .500 in league play for a lengthy period

With the number of big schools firing their HC's I'm sure Jimmy Sexton is field calls for Dabo. Not everyone is going to Land Lane Kiffin and the Indiana HC got a fat extension I'm sure some inquires are out there.
Normally, Sexton would be working the AD for a pay raise/extension but this is not Dabo's year for that.

That’s not how it works now. Everything is “brokered” through agents. It gets even better, only a few agents handle all of the top coaches.

I’m pretty confident that the OP’s use of the phrase ‘has anyone contacted Dabo …’ is shorthand for have intermediaries for other schools been contacting Dabo’s agent.
In briefly worded message board titles, the shorthand version gets the point across just fine.

Does anyone really believe that some school who has to pay a severance package to a head coach like Franklin would ever consider paying Dabo's buyout for more of the same results? Heck the results may even be worse than Franklin's for the past two seasons.

With a 60M buyout and no inkling that he will utilize the portal at a 20% rate vs scholarship then anyone would be crazy right now. All CFP teams right now have 16 or more transfers. Most have 75% of their coaches on staff with some previous experience too.
The two most important position coaches are the QB coach and LB (the QB for the defense) and both have unproven coaches. 🤦♂️

I don’t think any team has contacted Dabo. I remember when Saban retired and fans all showed up protesting against Bama hitting Dabo just to make sure he wasn’t. Hopefully, Dabo makes the necessary changes and uses the portal at positions with a need, and rights the ship to winning more championship. Until he does, I will have to remain as a see it to believe it after these last 4-5 seasons.

And probably not by the schools we would necessarily project.
The modus operandi can be as simple as a long-time friend or colleague from another university calling Dabo and telling him "they are touching base because they respect his career and acumen" and wonder what he thinks about some specific candidates that the school may or may not consider as HC. Then, if there is any remote interest on Dabo's part, Dabo may call his agent and ask him to discreetly follow-up on a few "what-ifs". For successful HC's, it's a crazy and well-paying market.
