Does anyone else think DJ is too heavy.

I saw many QBs moving smoothly inside and outside the pocket today to make plays. DJ does not seem quick enough with all that weight on him. IMO. Why didn’t Dabo and his staff get him in better shape?

Or keep letting DJ go to town on the Bojangles and make him a Fullback?

I just don’t think he’s ready and believes the job is his. And I don’t believe the offensive players like him. He will transfer after the season. So we might as well get someone else ready. And the rest of the ACC is watering at the mouth thinking about playing us. GO TIGERS!!!!

That is silly. You don’t think the offensive players like him? What?

I have a feeling that DJ would absolutely smoke you in any athletic competition you would dare to challenge him in.

I remember Tajh Boyd was “chunky” when he got here. He shed the lbs and became a much more potent duel threat QB.

No everyone’s body is different. If he was “heavy” I’m sure the coaches would try and work on that. I wish the team as a whole was heavier. O-line seems pretty lean. Wish the guys were bigger especially since the team runs a slower paced offense.

I noticed before the season he had dropped a good bit before last season, but I said a while back I believe losing 10-15lbs would possibly help with his first step.
