Like him or not, Doeren has been NCSU’s best HC since #### Sheridan.

We can only hope that the NCSU ‘brain trust’ (with that term being taken loosely) gets rid of him and hires another Chuck Amato type HC.

Amato was 49-37 in seven seasons as the Pack head coach, 4-1 in bowl games. Very similar to Doeren.

I mean its NCST, how much better do you think they can do? Its just like the stupid coots thinking they are some perennial program. Some teams are just no-bodies, like NCST and USuC.

but just can't have enough of a breakout season for a higher level program to want him.

Most of us can see things are stale in Raleigh. A top 20-25 finish is about the best they can hope for under Doeren.
