York High School looks like a small

College stadium. The End Zones don't have seating except for one section. It also has two field houses on each end, so it is similarly impressive.

My kids graduated from York. Have watched a good bit of football in that stadium and it is very nice.

Dorman stadium is rated as the 6th best stadium in the United States. It has stadium seating and luxury boxes that net Dorman High School over $300,000 per year. It’s nicknames are the Taj Mahal and University of Dorman.

Some do. I used to have to work on them or build them. But there's not many sadly.

Look at Allen,Texas high school football stadium. The capacity of their stadium is 18,000 and is the largest high school stadium in the world. There are a lot of colleges that would like to have something like this.

My oldest nephew played for Allen Eagles just after the stadium was built. I was dumbfounded to see it thinking it would be like most HS fields.

McKinney, TX
I can tell you that NCAA D2 Football plays their Championship Game in this stadium.
I think Southlake’s Stadium is more impressive than this one……but Allen’s Stadium is the one everybody talks about, I’ve just never seen it.
It’s pretty ridiculous for HS and I know my school/property taxes reflect the ridiculousness.

Ours is pretty sweet. $53 Million, 12,000 seats. Even our middle schools have Indios practice facilities. Pretty serious stuff here in Texas

Byrnes used to be considered a really good one as well but that has been years ago and not sure what they have in comparing it the latest and greatest.

Summerville High has had a large stadium for many years. The stadium was named for John McKissick, the coach with the most winning games in HS football, after coaching for 60+ years. It was renovated in 2021.
