I was hard on him last year but now realizing it wasn’t all him. Helps to have good plays to run and decent receivers.

unfortunately our holes are real. The reality is though that DJU was never a long-term solution - the shoes were bigger than he could fill.
As it turns out though, CK2 wasn’t much of a short-term replacement either. He’s got some growing still to do, and it’s likely there’ll be some potholes along the way this year. I’d say that we should be a dang good team by year’s end, but certainly no CFP is in store for us.

You will never hear from any network negative reviews on DJU. It’s not the story that they want to push. DJU outstanding, Dabo can’t coach is the story that they want to promote.
Expect them to chirp that darn near every time DJ throws a completed pass.

He’s still DJ. He’s running total ###### so far out there and looking great, but he’s average. Love the kid and he did win a lot with us but he has met his ceiling.

Not flaming you, but I couldn’t care less what DJ does. He was not a good QB for Clemson barring a couple of games. Do you think he would be good even in Riley’s offense - I don’t. He’s at Oregon State for a reason. I wish him well but it’s like worrying about who the gal you dumped is dating. Who cares. We moved on.
