What sort of a year do you think that would be? I don't think he's really projected as a top 3-round draft pick right now. From what I've heard, he's still got a lot of growing to do. Doesn't mean he doesn't have a pretty good season for us. But he's not a TJ Parker right now.

He was on a bad defense on a bad team playing 6 ranked opponents.

This year, he has 3 other studs drawing attention. I think results will be dramatically different.

I don't disagree about him having a little more opportunity in our defense, and we should expect some growth from him with an offseason under better coaches, but I doubt he turns into a high draft pick suddenly this year. I expect he will be back next season.

If he's getting more attention in 2026, his numbers and draft stock probably won't improve. It's like a junior wide receiver playing with a star senior quarterback—it might be better to leave early instead of playing with an inexperienced QB.

there are 2, maybe 3 TJ Parker types in the NCAA, so let's not compare him to TJ.

All he has to do is come in and be the best version of himself. With how weak our depth is at DE, he's a very much needed to provide a good first person out while younger guys develop o(or we go find more guys in the portal again).

Also, Will could have made huge strides in physical and mental development.
