7 of the 8 games are Vandy, Missouri, LSU, Okla, Bama and there next two games are vs Miss and TX A&M. The only breather in there was a game vs Kentucky. Imagine if we had that stretch of games. We may come into the Palmetto Bowl with a slightly better record, but I can't say that we're better than them with as bad as we've played vs much lesser competition.

is watching the Coots dream season go up in smoke as well. They were preseason top 15 too. We haven’t been the only massive disappointment in this state.

They looked more impressive against Alabama than we have in ANY of our games. Can't help to think they are improving. Their defense has recovered nicely this year after losing a lot and their OL seems to be playing better since Shane fired the OL coach and replaced him with Shawn Elliot. On playing that schedule - Iron sharpens Iron while we struggle with sisters of the poor in the ACC. Not looking forward to the game in Columbia this year.

Alabama isn't great this year. They're ok , but the beat down they took from a bad FSU team kind of has to let you know that they're no Sabanesque Bama squad. They look pretty average on defense , and their offense is hot and cold.

They also get extra 10s of millions a year just by rolling out of bed and getting TV money for their trouble.
Everyone always talks about these hypotheticals "well Clemson wouldn't survive!!" we've been terrible this year yes, anyone with eyes can see that, but with extra 10s of millions of dollars every year in TV money makes the job a he!l of a lot easier to recruit talent in the pay for play era.
If it's too hard for teams in that position they're more than welcome to leave the SEC or BIG10 and a dozen schools would want to take their spot.

They played way over their heads against Bama. Bama played down to them. They are not that good but neither are we.

I was at the bama game for work. Great atmosphere once they got things going.
They have a solid Defensive front, Harbor can be dangerous if unaccounted for (he does have legit speed) and sellers is constantly ducking diving and dodging his way out of getting sacked 10 times a game.
They lost a ton of talent last year and I expect for us to mop them up and keep our win streak in columbia alive.
Last years Scar team would wreck us the NFL draft shows all the guys they had last year, but this year is a totally different team for them. I have us winning by multiple scores. And I question those who think that Scar is some war machine just because of the SESHE on their chest.

If I am not mistaken, are they not the ones that wanted to play with the "big boys" because the ACC did them wrong? And are they not proud of the fact that they play in a conference where they have no chance of winning anything ..... even not so many years ago when their side of the conference was pure garbage?
