Did you see Beamer at halftime up 30-3

waving both hands up in the air at the A&M fans as he went into the locker room at half. I saw the video of him taunting the fans. This shows his true colors of being classless. Could you imagine him as a player doing what he did to the crowd? It did come back to bite him in the butt.

Still looked like an idiot but I didn’t take it as taunting because it looked like Coots in the stands.

"The one who thinks we can and the one who thinks we can't are both right! Which one are you, son? Which one are you, son?"

Agreed. I think he was pumping up his own fans not taunting.***

He seems like a good guy. That loss yesterday seems like it's the beginning of the end for him at SC.

He might be a perfect associate AD at Virginia Tech, but is not a high level HC.

He definitely cares, and means well, and being a good person is an admirable goal that he seems to have reached, but that just may be his ceiling. Maybe recruiting/talent acquisition is his best role, after all.

I live in the midlands for work right now and can say with all sincerity he does a ton for the community down here and is a down to earth guy. Also gives a ton to charity, his charity isn’t smoke and mirrors they actually give a ton to the kids hospital down here. His wife is also a down to earth great person from folks I know that know the family.

Much like us I don’t think they thought this year would be a step back. I think they’d be foolish to get rid of him in this coaching cycle.

From a “wanting the state of South Carolina to do better” and the fact I have many good friends who are coots I hope he stays and continues to do good things down here. He’s a true class act.

From a rivals perspective I hope they fire him asap because I think it would be a disaster for them.

Good post about Shane Beamer. I told some of my coot friends that if SC ever wanted to build a consistently successful program the would need to ;

Hire an aggressive young HC-Done with hire of Shane Beamer
Give him a 10 year contract
Support him 110% win or lose
Provide financial resources needed to improve recruiting, student involvement with FB team
Tear down WB Stadium
Build new stadium (if possible) closer to Campus
Create a college like atmosphere around the new stadium
Hire great people to promote SC athletics
Change the culture at SC
Make it safe for visiting fans to come early to tailgate, and shop near stadium.
Stop recruiting thugs

Firing Beamer this year or even next could negatively impact SC’s football program for several years. I am not sure SC could recover in the NIL, RS, TP environment without a large infusion of 💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰into coot football.

If they fire Beamer this next hire could be the most important Hire in Gamecock Football history !

I hope Clemson fans will be patient with Dabo and think twice before making a Head Coaching Change. This is a very bad time to be looking for a HC. I bet if you ask Penn St if they pulled the trigger on James Franklin way to soon, they say He$$ yes we did.

LSU is continuing to let Brian Kelly, bad hire from Day One, to embarrass LSU football. Kelly is making LSU look like bush leaguers flying blind.

Clemson still has much to be proud of. Let’s not panic now and stoop to the level Kelly has brought LSU down to !!!

Saban would crazy to take that job. Only a select few names come to mind that can rescue LSU. Saban ( if he were younger ), Dabo, Mark Richt ( if healthy), or maybe Tony Elliott. It needs to be a Coach with high moral standards, integrity, honesty and character. Whoever LSU hired the fans had better be patient and supportive. BK’s time at LSU has damaged the culture to such extent, it may be 6 or 7 years before they fully recover from the Brian Kelly fiasco.

One problem they can’t solve,…they will never be consistently successful as long as they are in the SEC.

He has been a clown and in over his head since day one.

He tries to mimick actions, words and phrases that he has seen successful coaches use, but he consistently misapplies them. I am not sure he has ever had an original thought or idea…which makes him perfect for that program.

My thoughts exactly. Nothing he does seems sincere, it’s all contrived. He acts like he’s had a ton of success and is surprised when things don’t work out.

I’m sure he’s a wonderful human being, but he acts like a privileged coaches son living off his fathers accomplishments

Or I could be 100% wrong. Just my opinion

That’s why I would suggested several years ago the coots hire a young eager HC stick with him for at least 10 to 12 years, in this case Shane Beamer. Give him time to get his feet securely planted and change the culture at SC. The coots are getting nowhere firing and hiring a new head coach every 3 to 6 years. With the new play for pay era hanging on to your HC and how funds are allocated is more important than ever.
