that splits the fanbase:
"He will fix it."
Because, as I noted in another post below, if he COULD fix this then why has he not done it the past 4 or 5 years as things were starting to go sideways and people were pointing out there were issues?
I think we can ALL agree that the hires he has made the past 4 years haven't panned out. The home grown guys are one thing, but most everyone was on board with Riley and our offense still looks like amateur hour. DC - Allen was thought to be a big 'get' as well... and while I think it's fair to say the jury is still out (it even took a few years for Venables to get things really going and I think he was the best DC in the nation) it hasn't looked good on that side of the ball.
So either he's TRYING to fix it and it's not working, or he's UNAWARE of just how bad things are (which will be impossible after this disaster of a year).

I'm tired of hearing "Dabo needs a chance to fix it"...........he's had FIVE YEARS.
at this point he needs to be given direction on HOW to fix it b/c I don't think he knows........and if he knows then he's refusing to do so.
He needs to be sat down after this year by the AD and/or BOT (however that works) and given direction/an ultimatum.

telling people who want the team to get out of the nose dive decline to pull for another team instead is just dumb. why dont you go pull for another team. seeings you clearly do not care if this one succeeds

Exactly, it is dumb. Fans can be critical because they love Clemson and care. Clemson is above Dabo.
No other SEC school I know would put up with the way Dabo runs his program. I’m sure they laugh at his ridiculous $60 million buyout now.
