They will move Clemson back in the top 15 as a deflection so no one talks about Bama only dropping 1 spot.

Plus 1, but I don't think they will move Clemson anywhere. I also think that the folks who does that stuff, they have shown Tiger Nation on many occasions that they don't care about how Tiger Nation, or anyone else feels about what they do!!! They have no shame in their game!!!!!

Did Bama’s QB go out or something? Otherwise they just lost to an unranked 2 loss team that was last place in the SEC West.

Why are you asking about Bama QB going out? And whether he went out or not Bama did lose to unranked A&M. I said it might be useful to compare this to when we lost to unranked Pitt or Syracuse. We made CFP in both cases.

When we lost to Syracuse our starting QB went out which was part of the narrative when it came to rankings/cfp. Pitt was vastly undervalued with nfl talent all over. The acc was the best conference that year, a rarity.
This is Bama loss a somewhat comparable loss to ours vs nc st.
The difference was Bama has no narrative other than “sec”. I’ve been saying they look mortal all season, the sec isn’t quite as good as folks seem to believe. The acc is not the sec, but it’s also not as bad as people want to believe.

Pitt ended up with 4 losses that year we lost to them, with Deshaun Watson playing. And the narrative about our QB going out vs Syracuse was mostly our narrative. Maybe taken in into consideration by some pollsters, maybe not. In both cases we dropped just a little being a first loss. This is Bama’s first loss, there aren’t many teams to move ahead of them, and they have mostly looked good. So Bama won’t drop much, just like we didn’t those years.
