I don't watch his show but I read some highlights, and here were some that stood out:
"The president of the United States made it very clear he wants to see me and the hundreds of people who work here fired from our jobs. Our leader celebrates Americans losing their livelihoods because he can’t take a joke."
"This show is not important. What is important is that we get to live in a country that allows us to have a show like this."
"A government threat to silence a comedian the president doesn't like is anti-American."
On Erika Kirk: "“She forgave him. That is an example we should follow. If you believe in the teachings of Jesus, as I do, there it was. That, that’s it. A selfless act of grace. Forgiveness from a grieving widow.”
On spending time with comedians who "get thrown in prison for making fun of those in power, and worse. They know how lucky we are here. Our freedom to speak is what they admire most about this country, and that’s something I’m embarrassed to say I took for granted until they pulled my friend Stephen off the air." (Colbert was forced off the air as a concession to Trump as part of CBS's merger deal)
Also, shout out to conservatives like Ben Shapiro, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, etc., for backing Kimmel and calling out the Trump admin for their un-American practices.
If you cheered on Kimmel's suspension or the firing of anyone for comments about Kirk and his death, shame on you for being a bad American. From what I've read up on Kirk after his murder, he would not have supported that behavior.
And if you clumsily tried to find specious claims of the Biden administration doing something similar, then that means you admit that trying to stifle any speech is wrong and you should be speaking out against the MAGA contingent for trying to do so.

I don't trust anything that comes from the BLS. Haven't for many years. Still don't. The faith placed in something with such a built-in conflict of interest, it's amazing really the mass ignorance. Put it this way, if there was no conflict of interest, then why is Trump trying to put in his people to run it? Sad fact, the conflict of interest has ALWAYS been the same, so the errors in numbers have....always been the same. BLS is about keeping inflation down, and keeping debt cheap. Simple. Cheap debt keeps BLS and the governemnt that funds it, running. It isn't political, but financial, and it's bipartisan.
This is why Powell doesn't trust their data, why rates have not been lowered, AND why treasury yields are stuck high, and only increase when the fed drops rates, opposite of what is supposed to happen. The big money knows what's happening. Same conflict of interest with the big "ratings agencies". The entire 2008 financial crisis happened because guess who pays S&P to rate mortgage backed securities? The banks selling them. Yep. Give a bad rating, the bank will go somewhere else to get a better rating to then sell it at a higher profit.

But he and his FCC were trying to get him removed. You just can't argue otherwise with a straight face.
And seeing as how he WASN't fired (and Trump is pissed about that), I suppose your point, while missing the crux of the matter, was true.

No Administration should try to suppress free speech

It is absolutely chilling that Trump and his FCC lackey leaned on ABC to try to can Kimmel and it is ridiculous that Trump has threatened to come after news organizations for critical reporting.
It is not the same deal, but it was also chilling that Biden leaned on Facebook to censor certain people. That is not a specious claim. Mark Zuckerberg himself confirmed that.
Biden also set up the short lived Disinformation Governance Board which was attacked by free speech advocates on the left and right and was disbanded in a few weeks.
Additionally Biden weighed in on Google to stifle some folks.
Biden certainly did not threaten to nuke news outlets, so it's not an apples to oranges comparison.
As to Clemson firing the professor for saying,"Be a Tyler Robinson," I'm good with that. An employer has the ability to discharge someone for incendiary language. I suspect most would be supportive of canning a professor if they had said "George Floyd was a N----- and deserved what happened."
Employers have every right to fire someone for language of this sort.
However, it is very scary to have the government regulate speech of any kind and Trump needs major push back for trying to control what is on the airwaves.
More evidence that Biden likewise was suppressing speech.Again, this isn't apples to oranges.

But not good when they do it after receiving pressure from the federal government or screeching Nancy Mace.

license that Kimmel would be back on the air? This was simply a business decision and after looking at all the facts, ABC reversed course. I would imagine when Kimmel's contract expires, it will not be renewed.

"I mean, look, we can do this the easy way or the hard way. These companies can find ways to change conduct and take action, frankly, on Kimmel, or you know, there's going to be additional work for the FCC ahead." - Brendan Carr
And he's stating publicly that he intends to investigate other shows and networks for what he perceives to be Democrat bias.
The FCC is stepping way out of line here.
Remember Trump threatening to pull licenses for critical news networks just a day after this, too?
So yes, they threatened.

Garbage humans.
7 Days Ago: ‘the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than ONE OF THEM.’
Today: ‘I don't think the murderer who shot Charlie Kirk represents ANYONE.’
