Defense Question

Why cant we get the correct defensive call in to our players on time? The last few weeks seems like our guys are looking at the sidelines and not getting lined up before the offense snaps the ball. Our opponents have picked up on this and are going with quick snaps catching us out of position. This happened several times tonight causing busts in the secondary. Coots on FGF are crowing about bentley lighting us up. I say the chunk plays are directly related to this. bentley had a career night as a result of this. Venables has got to get this corrected ASAP.

Happy with the W, but wanted to crush the coots by more than 21.

ive noticed that too. the ball is being snapped by the opponent as the defense has been looking towards the sideline and was not set

BV always wants to make the last call. He wants the offense to make their check at the line of scrimmage and then he wants to adjust. Not saying it works all the time, obviously it doesn’t, but that is what’s going on

I agree that BV wants to make the last call, but if that is not working I wish he would change things up some.
