Thank you for being a stand-up young man of exceptional character. Don't worry, Dabo appreciates how you are handling your recruiting. TigerNet has its share of idiots and trolls, so don't pay any attention to arse-talking you may see here or elsewhere on the internet. It's just that we've had to endure the circus that is known as Beverly Nkemdiche and some weak-minded fans may automatically lump you together with that recruiting fiasco.
It's OK for you to look around. It's highly impressive of you to be so respectful toward the Clemson coaching staff while doing it. We all know how Dabo handles these things. We know that he discouraged you from committing unless you were certain beyond all doubt. We also know that he encouraged you to hold off on your commitment until you had seen every school in which you held interest.
Those of us who love Clemson understand how easy it is to fall in love on your first visit. We were very happy to hear of your determination to travel by bus to attend the camp and of your subsequent commitment. It came as no surprise that you became instantly infatuated. But we've been down this road before, Dylan. Sometimes early commits fall victim to a form of buyer's remorse. Sometimes it's pressure from the media motivated by an unprofessional bias. Other times, family members who didn't make the trip exercise undo influence. And, of course, there are those less scrupulous coaches who flat out lie about Clemson. It's all OK; we understand.
I want to thank you for being honest. If I had the chance to speak with you in person, I would tell you the following: the love you felt for Clemson and its football program will endure. There is no place like it in all of the world. After you look around, you may decide to go somewhere else for some compelling personal reason. That's OK, too, because none of us wishes you to have any regrets. But I know this: the Clemson coaches want you and will demonstrate how much you are wanted. By all accounts, Coach Cheese is a great guy, but we hear similar accolades for Coach Reed. All of that matters, but what really matters is the school. You won't find another Clemson anywhere.
Take your time. See every campus you care to visit. Talk and text with every coach you hope to hear from. Now you know that impulse "buying" is not the way to "shop." Gather the facts and make your choice once and for all. I expect your impressions of Clemson have ruined you for any other school. See you in orange, tiger.

I think it's more a matter of, hope you don't change your mind. I read it as a matter of wanting to make sure he made the right decision and being completely honest with Dabo and Co. I expect to hold on to him in the end.

If Dylan reads it, I sincerely hope he t-mails me. I'm not a booster by definition. I wouldn't commit any violations, anyway. I'd just like to know that he is appreciated and respected for his high character.

Really! Real Tigers feel as you do about any recruit. Once they have been to Clemson, its a hard place to say no to.

I know we all love Clemson and want a person of high character like yourself here. However, if it comes down to you really want to be close to home and you have to eliminate us for that reason - then I strongly encourage you to choose Texas A&M. I want you here and will be disappointed if you are not, but if you became an Aggie and included that reasoning then I believe myself and our fans would respect that. We don't think there's any place like Clemson, but at least some of us believe that Aggieland has the strongest community and traditions outside of ourselves.

Sumlin is a great guy too, but I think he's headed out of A&M to a bigger stage within 2-3 years. Whenever the right team comes calling.
Then it's Chad Morris to A&M, which he really should hold out for. We'll be in good shape with Chad's influence on Tony Elliott and Jeff Scott.
