The team has definitely underperformed and was overrated to the max. This was the year of that though… just ask Penn State and Texas too.
Beyond the scope of this thread, but will be interesting to see how much this happens in years going forward. The portal/NIL era has brought more parity to college football than ever before.

Dabo Swinney in the NIL era of college football is A TRASH COACH! I said it , and I believe it. I hope he goes away or he gets shown the door. Give me Kiffin! He gets the game today. Swinney won big before NIL. We are not there anymore. Its what can you do now. Please Clemson needs a change. The locker room doesn't respond to the Dabo sermons anymore. Dabo era is OVER!!!!!

Oh no it definitely is. Preseason #4 and already staring at loss #4 halfway through the season. You could argue 2021 Clemson could be worse but at least that defense was a force to be reckoned with.

Im not a coot. A lifelong Tiger fan, but i simply refuse to accept this product from a coach earning what he is earning. Cade is out, but Dabo signed all of these guys and didnt get anyone in the portal to help. Its all on him.

Until we play portal ball this is going to be the normal trend. 9-3 great year but 7-5 8-4 or 6-6 will be the standard. Dabo way is honorable but the world is different and there is way more parity than 5 years ago.
