Day ?? of the Covid: I don't even remember what day it is,

but I know that the meds are now gone, but the remnants of the Covid are still here. Throat has calmed down some, but sinuses are still junk. I shall survive. More worried about No. 1 son, who spent THE ENTIRE DAY yesterday yakking every few minutes. His doctor called in a prescription for him, and when it was picked up, turned out to be one of the same drugs he already is taking for gastric issues. So, no help there. Please pray for him, the human body needs to at least take in water to survive. He can't even keep that down.
Myself, I will be calling my doctor to try and get something more to get rid of this sinus junk. May be a leftover from the Covid, or may be a separate issue. I don't care which it is, I want it GONE.

times. It is getting slowly better, but just not fast enough to suit me. Sitting around with your head feeling like it weighs 50 pounds is no fun. Head is so heavy, it is making my neck hurt all the time just trying to hold up the extra weight.

Well 76er I hope you get better soon. I tested positive this morning and will start the meds as soon as my wife can pick them up. So far, all symptoms are mild and I sure hope they stay that way. I am certain I got this when I went to my granddaughter’s Christmas concert since I had a guy directly behind me hacking like no tomorrow. Wanted to say something but I was in a church and didn’t want to get into it with the individual.

Move! Walk, low intensity, safely, every 1-2 hours. Rest. Repeat. All day long! Daily.
Vitamin C, Vit D, zinc.

Your son probably needs to head to the ER. Don’t let him get dehydrated. Like noted above, they can use IV hydration to bypass the gastro. Don’t mess around because it sounds like with his preexisting gastro issues should be monitored by a gastro specialist at the hospital.
