Is there a reason that we keep putting him back out there? He's had a few good games this year, but has been pounded by good hitting teams WAY too many times.

There’s no basically about it. This is the only game that matters in pool play for us. We can play walk ons tomorrow regardless of the outcome today.

We should’ve pulled his no pitching ### after he gave up the homer now the reliever has two base runners to deal with instead of clean slate

He never should have been the starter in an elimination game, but if so, you are 100% correct, his leash should have been short enough that the HR would have done it.

Yeah, I don't get it unless Bakich is saving his pitching for the regional. I was sure the Tiger ace would start. Clemson maybe playing itself out of a top 8 seed.
