Dabo not going anywhere but his demeanor shows he's dreading what he has to do

I'm really convinced at this point that Dabo knows that he has to clean house. Reading his body language and his comments especially since Saturday, I think he is dreading what he has to do...these are his friends, these are his former players, these are people he's put faith in that have not produced the results that he needed them to. John Maxwell has spent his life talking about and studying leadership, he makes the point that your leadership will only rise to the level of the leaders on your inner circle. Dabo understands this, I think he got by winning some of the 50/50 games in the past or the very difficult decisions he's about to have to make would've been made already. Leadership is not easy - its what the legit Tiger fans here on Tigernet have been legitimately asking for.

As for personnel changes, I'm not the HC...so all of this is only my opinion and I'm not sure who at this point would be safe, I mean even though we played pretty good offensively vs. Duke, we still choked on the play call on the 3rd and 6 late where - if we get a first down and continue the drive we probably win the game...but we throw an incomplete line of scrimmage pass and it was just a microcosm of the inconsistent checkers level play calling we've been playing from an offensive game strategy situation. QB coach? Play has been inconsistent. RB coach? Gideon Davidson and Adam Randall's performance this week may have saved his job but overall I don't think that our RB room has produced at an elite level since our last generational talent at that position, ETN left. O-Line coach? One could say that the reason Cade at times has been inconsistent is because he had 1.2 seconds to do something he needed 3.3 seconds to do. I like the way our receivers have played overall so maybe he's good to go...I really think everyone but the receivers position coach is under the microscope.

On the Defensive side - I really think the position coaches are all in jeopardy. As for the DC, I'm really convinced it takes a special talent to play chess as a DC, and in our case - other than the 2nd quarter v. Duke - which was by far our best "CLEMSON-LIKE" defensive quarter all year (maybe in the last few years) it still came after the first quarter that we gave up 190 yards and 21 points. I haven't seen (other than the 2nd quarter v. Duke) chess being played. For the other 3 quarters- when we applied extra pressure to the QB...he was human, when we didn't, he looked like Mahommes/Elway/Marino and Brady combined. I for one am tired of every quarterback we play against having a career day against us and IMO it starts with the DC who absolutely has not locked down anyone - including Troy, including SMU.

Anyway - I'll stop - but I am a Dabo believer...I have been in leadership positions in my long career when hard decisions had to be made. We have some coaches that are obviously over their heads and need to be freed up to go learn more before they are coaching at an elite (yes I said it) football organization like Clemson (I know...we aren't right now but for the CFP era we have been). In the end, Dabo will do the right thing for the program because he's built that way...but heavy is the crown.

All your points are valid. A good leader has to make tough decisions and Dabo is at a cross roads. He has a purpose for everything he does so I am confident Dabo will have to make some critical changes. Pressure is mounting and will continue to mount until changes are implemented. Many folks are unhappy at the moment and players are starting to question leadership as well.

The Leadership Circle is accurate. The loss of Jeff Scott, Tony Elliott and Brent Venables as HC Assistants is tough to replace.

I hope we can turn things around the next 4 games but there is a tough road ahead to even go 2-2 with the remaining schedule.
