Almost anything reported these days ,especially in sports has merit. Doesn't mean it's going to come true. And even if it does, what can we do about it? Money talks and if Mark Davis throws enough money his way Dabo could exchange his orange blazer for a black one. But I personally don't think Dabo wants that for himself or his family. I think he is more into developing character than coaching grown men. Just my take but I don't see him leaving Clemson just yet. I think he would love to see one or two more CFP appearances and perhaps at least one more NATTY before going pro.

already. Please let it die as Dabo has given no indication he is remotely interested in the NFL coaching business. Not with the Raiders - not with any NFL team.
Until Dabo gives Clemson nation some indication he is not happy being our coach let's stop re-posting this Raider homer's fantasy as it was created from nothing but Dabo visiting a bunch of his former players while out West on Clemson business.

It would absolutely blow my mind if Dabo, a man who has been a rock solid ambassador for his faith in God, goes to coach in the NFL and moves his family to the city of sin.

The world, and particularly the media, is jealous at what Dabo has done at Clemson. They all want it and if they can’t have it; they want to do their part to try and break it up. I have no doubt that every AD in America and NFL owner wants to gauge Dabo’s interest in coaching their team. Heck, he has had multiple opportunities in the past to make a change but has kept on pouring into Clemson.
There is one thing you can be sure of, he will continue to be loyal to the one that brought him until there is reason to believe that the loyalty is no longer being reciprocated. I also very highly doubt he would bail on the program in the midst of so much change taking place. While others see it as something being wrong, he sees it as an opportunity. And if you’ve paid attention to his coaching career, he thrives on proving the doubters wrong.
Nothing more than a writer creating click bait and trying to create a narrative.
P.S. He left out that they are courting CJ Spiller as well. You can see him in the background trying to hide from the paparazzi.

Thanks for the thoughts. I believe Dabo is still very much all in, but wanted to see if there was anything more to this. No intention of creating any panic. Go Tigers!

No, I don't think Dabo is ready for NFL... He may after "climbing the mountain" (successfully) again. But I don't think he would leave his Dynasty the way it is. He will make sure his replacement will have the best opportunity to succeed. But boy would I love to see Hunter Renfrow back as a WR coach. I think he would be awesome!!!

Unfortunately, I could see it happening now more than ever. Look at what we are letting college football turn into. Dabo said when we started paying players he was done. Well, when Texas oil money is buying players, other players that don’t play a down of football can get a million dollars, he may be done.
Players start decommitting to make more money, transfer portal lets kids go anytime they want, yeah, this isn’t the college football I knew and loved, so I’m sure it’s not his either. Why not got to the pros where everything is at least out on the table. I know dirty recruiting has always been out there, but it’s just ridiculous now.
Why wouldn’t he think about it? I’m questioning where college football is going myself.

If Dabo did this, it would be about the lowest possible thing he could do. He would have let 2 potential HC candidates, that could take over our program, leave before he pulled the plug and left us with half a team. It would almost be as bad as what Jimbo did to FSU when he left or Spurrier at SC. I just cannot see Dabo doing that this this program and tarnishing his legacy.

He is not leaving this year, which means it would be another three or four after they hire another Coach. I can’t see he and Kathleen moving to Vegas. Would he Coach one of the Pro teams in the South (Atlanta,Jacksonville or Carolina) one day, who knows.

I seriously doubt Dabo would leave before his son Clay comes through the program like Drew and Will have.
