Blaming the officials is a bad look. We didn’t make the shots we needed to make. We let Loserville get too many uncontested breakaways. Chase had a horrible shooting night until the very end. We were dominating them inside but we missed too many shots at the rim. Wiggins committed some really poor turnovers at bad times. We just didn’t play well enough to win. Blaming the officials is cootish.

Yeah because historically the ACC refs have been very fair and competent with us. And NOW all of a sudden they're bad??? I'm not buying it either. Nah, Sell crazy somewhere else.

All true AND the officials sucked. We played bad and still had a chance to pull it out but weren’t allowed that opportunity by bad officiating. You saw the UNC guy get fouled very similarly in the prior game in the same closing moments. It’s frustrating that there won’t be an accountability to it. For example, that guy doesn’t ref the semis or finals next year or the acct at all. Hell, our baseball coach didn’t get to coach the first 2 games of the year because an ump got his feelings hurt after being called out for a bad call. Shouldn’t the refs have some consequence too? I wouldn’t mind if it was simply an acknowledgement of “hey, we missed it”

Ref deserve all the criticism that they get, they signed up for the job and so if they can't a foul a foul then they deserve whatever backlash comes their way

Truth is they were blatant horrible no calls two plays in a row at the end, either one of them and we win the game.
The biggest one was Chef getting slammed to the floor in the first couple minutes while the ref watched.
I’ll be surprised if he doesn’t have a injury that lasts to his arm/ elbow the rest of the season.

True but…Shooting well is difficult when you are getting molested. There are good calls and good no calls…but there are bad ones too. There is nothing in between, especially with replay. Right and wrong…no maybe.

Maybe the question we should ask all of our Cardinal friends and Tiger detractors is "if a foul had been called could any of you with a straight face say that it should not have been called"?
