Yeah, sure, that’s why I got it.
I’m sure it had nothing to do with me working on an ambulance, in a confined space, with a COVID+ person.
If I didn’t get vaxxed of boosted, I probably don’t catch the virus being 2 feet away from a COVID+ person for 12 hours.

I've almost up to date on my vaccination. And I have been around people who have come down with it. At this point, I still carry around a mask. But the only time l use it is when l am up close with people.

A lot will depend on your age. The older you are, as in senior citizen territory, the worse it can be. Fatal, even. I felt "OK", but passed out. Luckily my wife saw me. She called EMS who took me to the hospital. Dr said the reason I passed out was lack of oxygen. COVID attacks the lungs. I was in the hospital for 5 days in isolation. Dr told me I was lucky I had taken the vaccine because symptoms are much less severe. She said she had patients on their stomachs with tubes down their throats pumping in oxygen just to keep them alive. Good luck.
