My wife and I had it about a month ago. Didn’t seek any medical treatment, just let it run it’s course. The only thing I took was NyQuil. We are both 60ish and in pretty good health so it was about like a bad cold for us. Not as bad as the flu I had a few years ago. But I do still have a little lingering cough.
Good luck. Hope you feel better soon.

Yes, last week. I took it for three days then developed a rash and was forced to stop the medication. I’m guessing it helped. The headache and fever mostly subsided within 12 hours of starting it. Good luck!

The neighbors and us got it at the same time, assuming we gave it to each other. We laughed, joked and had a covid party since it was 10 days quarantine at the time. Got Alcohol and drank together.

I've had it 3x. Paxlovid has too many adverse side effects. I could kinda see taking it if you are in your 70s or older. If you are running a fever or have body aches take 800mg ibuprofen and 4 hrs later take 1000mg Tylenol. Alternate and take both meds 3x a day. If you have congestion and cough take whatever OTC meds you normally take for cold/flu. Go to Dr or ER if you get shortness of breath that doesn't go away in a few min after sitting. Make sure you eat at least a little something every day but make sure you drink plenty of water or sports drinks. Hope you get well soon!

Got it 11/16. Still trying to get over it. Can’t take Paxlovid but they tried another medicine but it tore stomach up. Had to stop it after 3 days. Husband got it before me. He’s better with slight cough. He only took cold medicine. Started with fever for us both. Good luck.

My wife took it and no side effects. She is in the very high risk(MS) group and had no problem after she took the paxlovid.

Yes, Paxlovid did help the symptoms, especially a very sore throat. It tastes terrible and the aftertaste stays with you for a long time.

Wife and I have had it at least twice and we didnt do anything any differently than we would for a cold. Took typical medicine and laid low for a couple of days and then it was gone. Not much to it for us luckily.

I have been struck with "not covid" twice now.

It is the worst sniffles ever. If that's your issue, I'd recommend Benadryl. The old fashion, regular Benadryl. That was the ONLY thing that stopped the pouring nose both times I had "not covid".

Yes - I had it in August and went on Paxlovid. The worst symptom it gave me was a metallic taste in my mouth until I stopped it. But it seemed to stop the worst physical symptoms in their tracks. Obviously, YMMV, but I've urged folks to take it to knock down the virus early.

Paxlovid

I should add, there is a long list of drugs with which Paxlovid adversely reacts, so many people can't/shouldn't take it.
