As great as his highlights are at LB and that's where he'll obviously play, his RB clips are just as impressive. Probably won't happen, but it would be interesting to see him get a few carries maybe in short yardage or goal line situations throughout his career....absolute bruiser.

I asked same thing, but I can see it causing issues. He would be a fast, strong choice though

I think it would more likely happen before he became a starter, but even then...1 or 2 carries in a game wouldn't hurt. Obviously wouldn't want to overdue it if he's starting at LB. It would just be interesting to see. Especially if we lack power and size at RB when Mafah is gone.

If he does not carry the ball then Dabo has lost it! Look at his tape..looks great at LB but have never seen one of those rule a game...maybe Nobis or possibly Taylor...they have a limited value based on many other factors most of which are uncontrollable! RBs can be a real game changer...Gillman & Etienne come to mind right off!

Yeah kinda why I said once Mafah is done, but even them 2 (Assuming Ship stays) gotta prove they can hang on to the ball next year in those goal line situations.

Agree. If the most glaring hole on offense was a WR with size and speed to get open deep and Wiggins never saw a snap on offense, I see zero reason to take a chance with Brown in the single most injury prone position on the field. He's going to see enough collisions without compounding them for a few token carries.
All of that is out the window if there is a rash of injuries.

I hope not. We have a bunch of good RBs who can tote the rock but are thin at LB. Do not need to risk injury as we will need him healthy and focused on defense
|
