What factual evidence does he have to base that on? Does he really believe they’ve arrived after playing that schedule? Having to beat La Tech with an absolute miracle. Wow. I know you have to try and say good things about your team but Todd Ellis is fooling himself if he thinks SC has greatly improved. The teams they beat this year just sucked a little more than last year. Except UL and Wofford who did not get pushed around by the coots.

I’m not sure delusional is a strong enough word. That’s bordering on a clinical problem. Todd Ellis may need to see a therapist. I can understand if he said they were on the upswing as a program because that would be true I guess.....relatively speaking. Hell they had nowhere to go but up. However, to suggest that the Clemson coaches are “terrified” of usuc’s progress is laughable as is any notion that the two programs are close to equal. From top to bottom, Clemson is parsecs beyond where usuc is right now. Another chance at a National championship but the Tigers are “cycling out”.....gimme a break.

I live in GA and I don’t have to hear much gamecock talk at all really....is this type of delusion the norm amongst biased local sports radio hosts?
I grew up in Charleston and had to unfortunately listen to Bobby Hartins fat @$$ down there (who was a cheerleader at USCjr)...but he’s not as bad as this clown.
