Are the coots dumb enough to fly a banner over our game bragging about a one point win? Honestly I kinda hope they do this because that’s all the bulletin board material Dabo will need going into next year.

It’s true that there was a go fund me for it, and the guy reached his goal and said he was going to do it. It was geared towards both teams, not just Clem. On the one hand passion is what makes CFB special. But it’s also kind of stupid bc the guy said it can’t fly after 5:30, so it won’t even be during the game. My guess is a bunch of fools paid for this guy’s trip to Jax. We’ll see if it happens.

We're all still wearing NC clothing, riding around with NC stickers on our vehicles, and hanging NC banners in our stadium. The coots on the other hand are spending money to brag about winning regular season games against us and Tennessee while going 8-4 on the year. I'm not sure if anything better explains the difference in where or two programs are right now than that.
I stopped buying the shirts with the score of our game against South Carolina after the 2014 season. It just didn't seem to matter anymore once we started our CFP run. I literally told my wife the night before our game against them this year that the game wasn't fun anymore because we had nothing to gain from it. If we beat them then nobody cared, and if we did beat them then we needed to beat them by a ton because they'd just feel happy about playing us close. On the other hand, if we lost to them then they'd go nuts over it meaning we had nothing to gain by winning and a ton of annoyance to be gained by losing.

That’s a great point! One of my co workers was sporting a shirt about their 1 point win and I thought to myself, I haven’t bought a rivalry shirt since the spurrier days. That is a perfect example of exactly where we are at in our programs. Well said
