We have growing to do. There are a lot of young players. It's not the 3nd of the world. The team just wasn't that good. Teams like TCU are dominating with upperclassmen.

Clemson is so great I don’t know why other teams agree to play them. You would think that Dabo, with the best players in the nation, would be a challenge that no sane coach would think of playing!
I’m surprised that the ncaa hadn’t ruled the Tigers ineligible to play other teams.

Well I have a feeling we all know the why on the ranking for the offense. In spite of our QB we still should have beat SC if not for TO’s.

Coaching TO did not help. They are both first year guys learning how to call it on the fly. We have had to have missed a few at WR and on the OL imo. Those 2 positions if improved would have made a huge difference. Very weak at those 2 positions currently.

I like the OL recruiting, and I like our DL recruiting. Thank God we still have that, but we desperately need skill.

OL looked really bad last night. What amazes me we run the ball fairly well but struggle to pass block.

That turnover comment works both ways. You also could have lost worse had we not turned it over.

We were up 14 with a QB that could do nothing. OC just needed to call the run. SC was stacking the box and we were still avg over 5 a carry. Congrats on your win but reality to’s and poor playing cost Clemson that game. I have GC buddies and they all knew they could not stop the run and did not understand the play calling. Not that they were not happy about it.

This year’s team was very good, but not even remotely great.
11 - 3 is a solid year, regardless of whether the conference is ACC, PAC 12, Big 12, or AAC.

It’s’ the 28th in total defense that concerns me the most. I believe that with the talent on that side of the ball, we could do better than that with no defensive coordinator at all. I exaggerate, of course but I don’t believe I’ve seen a more bland coach than Wes “the mess” Goodwin. Is it just me or does anybody else look for mustard on the side of his lip or a bbq sauce stain on his shirt when they show him on the sideline?

Clemson has slipped. They are still good just not elite anymore.
Some teams go from elite to terrible very quickly. Clemson has avoided that and are still a top 15 team. Fix the O line and receiver play they can be in the playoffs next year.
I still think something is missing with this offensive coaching staff.
