Which coach makes you the most nervous?

Now that the Tigers are moving into summer and the players are going to be on their own to get ready for August, which coach has the biggest “to do” list to work on?
I’m going with Streeter as he has to define his philosophy and get his terminology in place with the players. The absence of TE hopefully ignites a revival of some fun for the offense and fans.
Second would be Thomas Austin—- mostly because he is fairly new to coaching and has to start in a hole that Caldwell dug for him. Hopefully all the ‘cross training’ is a goner and guys can get focused on one job. Maybe he can talk Dabo into the portal.
Finally, it is CJ Spiller and not even the on field coaching, but how he can overcome such a rough start on the recruiting trail. The class of ‘23 & ‘24 are going to be critical in terms of Clemson being able to sustain their amazing run of success.

I think its crazy that somehow Grisham goes under the radar. I think he has a lot to prove If he wants to be the receivers coach of Clemson football. He fielded a bad unit last year. And his recruiting has not been fantastic either.
All opinions on my part.

I don’t let coaches make me nervous, but

a bunch of coaches are inexperienced relative to their position/responsibility level on our staff.
Streeter, Austin, Grisham, Spiller, Conn, and Goodwin are all underqualified for their roles on paper, especially for a program that was elite as recently as two years ago.
Dabo obviously really believes in them, assuming that “best is the standard.” I’ll be curious to see how they do. They deserve our support.

Only because it's more fun this way, I'm trying hard to come up with an argument.
It ain't easy, but here goes:
The defensive coaches:
Mickey Conn ... I don't see him as being too young or in over his head. Wes Goodwin ... no question that moving from a defensive assistant to DC is risky. But if he's truly a special brain (and has some NFL chops), then this OK because he's surrounded by experienced D-coaches. The rest of the defensive coaches (Reid, Eason, Hall).
The offensive coaches:
I'll have to get back to you with an argument to counter your perspectives about the O-coaching staff.
It take a few days (or weeks) to come up something.

Actually none of them make me nervous! They will either get the job done, or they won't. The job of a coach is to get the best out of his players, and have them ready game day. If the players perform up to their capabilities, that is all you can ask of a coach. The other thing is each and every week ,our coaches will be tested by the other coaching staff of the opponent we are playing and if we are out coached, then hopefully they learn from it. If not it will be a long season.

None of them from a schematic, play calling or preparation standpoint. The coach who would overlook the obvious and keep a starter (at any position) over a better option would ultimately frustrate me the most. That’s always my main concern. We’ve seen coaches so loyal to seniority that it cost them wins and jobs. Here’s hoping that doesn’t happen around here.

Yes, there are 2 coaches that make me nervous and they are the head coaches at FSU and Miami. If you think FSU and Miami will not become powerful teams again, you know nothing about football and we had better be ready.

What have you seen over the past decade to validate that?

Maybe both programs will once again ascend to their previous glory, but so far over the last 10 years they’ve only gotten worse.
Time will tell.
