Clowney

I don't see any other team or any other players or coaches run their mouths like Carolina. I guess most of the rest of the NCAA has more sense. Oh, and also, especially, the FANS!

The one team that could run their mouth

never does...Alabama

I dunno 'bout that one. I live on the gulf coast and I can

tell ya that Bama fans like to run their mouths...a lot. Hey, when yer king of the hill yer entitled to a little talk, I get that, but man do they go overboard.

Lately, I've heard nothing but HUNH offenses "cheatin' the rules, gonna get players hurt noise, since that Saban/Beilama article came out. Gotta explain away that loss to A&M somehow, huh?

The bama fans I know feel very entitled and are vocal about it...and their 24 championships, or however many they decide they have this month.

Having lived here for over a decade, I've decided that Bama fans are like chicken fans...with the notable exception that they actually have something to brag about.

Haven't heard their players brag much

Bama fans may mouthe, but they have a "little" more to mouthe about than the coots who have very little. However,I haven't heard any players running off at the mouth, talking about other players being "afraid" of them.

I once met two couples, both of whom had built businesses

[1]

and become very successful. One couple was humble and displayed great class and style in their lives; the other were loud-mouth braggarts who loved flashing gaudy jewelry, fast cars, outlandish clothing and oversized mansions for all to see.

The differences between the two were that the first couple had a longer history in business, understood the necessity for moderation and saving, and kept a hands-on approach. The second couple had only been in business a short time, proceeded on a spend and party lifestyle, and let others operate their business. Wasn't too long before the second couple's money was gone, their business folded, and they were back to square one...right where they had come from.

One can have all the money in the world and the class to go with it...and it shows. Another can have all the money in the world and no class...and it sticks out like a sore thumb. It's interesting how this tale...and the moral therefrom applies to quite a few people from all walks of life in varying situations.

what about Dabo's rant against an entire University, instead of just one player.....after he lost

Typical coot reply.....ignoring the truth....Spurrier shot off his big mouth, which he has continued to do time after time, and Dabo replied to his comments. That is not a rant. Spurrier just always has to be smart mouthing some one that he's jealous of because he has to be the center of attention and can't stand it if he's not...therefore the snide comments. Don't even go there saying you were insulted...it was just facts, man, facts. If you are insulted by facts (oh wait...you ARE a Carolina fan), then tough shiska!

Actually Daob "blew up" at something Spurrier didn't even say. At least Clowney walked the walk before talking.

Rant in response to yet another classless statement by a Gamecock. I personally am not upset by Clowney's statements. I love it when a Gamecock lives down to my expectations.

Yeah... I'm sure you love that lol. Just to cover up the nauseam of getting beat by a team and player that you cannot stand. We all find ways to cope. You sound like me when Carolina was getting beat by Clemson every year.

We also don't live near any other teams. All the Clemson fans here from is South Carolina and Georgia. With the occasional NC State fan, FSU, or UNC an chiming in when they're around. If we lived in Michigan we would probably be reading about the battles between Michigan and Michigan State and if we lived on the west coast we would probably hear about Oregon and Oregon State players going at it. Rivalries are everywhere, we just hear from ours a lot more, it seems like.
