App State 4-5, 6th in the Sunbelt. Best win 2 pt win vs East Carolina. S Alabama beat them by 34.
NC State 5-5, 14th in ACC. Most recent game double digit loss to Duke at home and Tennessee beat them 51-10 Best win at Cal by 1.
Stanford 2-7 16th in the ACC. Lost 3 games by 30+ points (not us)
Florida State 1-8 17th in the ACC. No further context needed.
Wake Forest 4-5 tied for 10th in the ACC. Best win vs NC State. Lost at home to Ragin Cajuns
UVA 4-4 tied for 10th in the ACC Recently lost to UNC 41-14. Best win is against Boston College (tied for 10th in the ACC too)
Best win so far... Virginia Tech 5-5, 7th in the ACC. Lost to Rutgers at home, best win vs Georgia Tech (6th in the ACC)

I expect the sunshine pumping will return. Most of them will forget about our embarrassing loss to Louisville and the terrible first half against VT since we won.

I have every reason to believe Pitt will be 8-1 when we play them next week. I think we need to bring our A game to beat them.

Except we won’t cruise at all. Some teams have closed the gap we have enjoyed the past 10 years and others are right behind them. I watched the last game we played in Blacksburg and What A Decline defensively! Offensively we look on par with that KB2 led squad. We NEED more money! Off the ACC doesn’t give it to us we need to leave. We are still Clemson and the country’s best want to play for us but they need an Incentive. Times have changed

It’s not financially feasible to stay in the ACC. You’re right that it provides an easier path to the playoffs, but the money is going to drive the decision if we can overcome the legal battles.

You can't buy or dream about enough good reason for a FB first Clemson to stay in the ACC bc there isn't one single good reason why a FB first University should stay in a she she FB poor conference, not one reason that could serve as a good reason to stay, and surely not for a weaker path to the playoffs, bc if that's the reason, what will the excuses be that we could never make it to the big game bc the real FB conferences can spend 3 times more money that a she she conference can just to keep a FB first Clemson out bc they clearly saw what a FB first Clemson can do when the money was close to the same, but ESECPN advised a money scheme to assure that doesn't happen anymore, not from the she she ACC!!!

The facts are that what you said is the truth. It's not only the truth, but it's a sad truth bc every team mentioned we probably out talent every one of those teams, and that proves without a doubt that our biggest problem with our team is that our coaches are being out coached on the practice field and in the games. Sad but true, the only way to fix bad coaching is through the coaching portal, Oooops, so we don't have a coaching portal but what we do have is that our athletics program do have enough money that Dabo can go after and bring in some of the best coaching talent in the country. Now I have a question, why in the H&ll hasn't he done that before now, our pants have been falling off for the past 3-4 years now bc we have been getting out butts kicked off by better coaching, bc we're not being out talented!!!

Most of us had figured by the time of the Stanford game that FSU was not any longer the feared / high esteem opponent on our schedule.
By the Stanford game, most of figured out that the stretch of LOU, VA Tech, Pitt, and S.Carolina (with Citadel game being when we could rest our injured starters for a week) as each being tougher than any of our pre-Louisville opponents.
Each of these four November opponents are good teams. S.Carolina is more than just the ‘basic’ good team. Not great, but no fooling good.
We should not be emotionally devastated if we lose another game before the bowl. I’m just hoping we can beat Pitt. Then I’ll worry about the yard birds.
