I think Finebaum’s remaining mission in life is to prevent Clemson from the SEC

Not ranting like a lunatic about Finebaum anymore.

But I hope he knows what will happen once Clemson has access to that type of situation.

But I really think his goal is to make Clemson look like crap so they don’t ever get let in.

Clemson wouldn’t be asking for the ACC to significantly reduce the exit fee after 2031 if Clemson didn’t care about leaving.

Clemson may even leave before 2031, because of the drop by 18% each year.

I hope Clemson never darkens the door of that wretched conference. Why so many want to enjoin Clemson to that infernal league is beyond me. Clemson would always be a red headed step child to those types. Clemson is an Upper South school, just as the ACC was before the Big Least raid of 2003. Those SEC schools can rot for all I care.

I always cheer for teams the SEC plays against. They started all of this shuffling of teams/conferences. I'm sick of their greed and power plays.

Finebaum knows nothing about our situation. A year or so ago, it was posted that he said Clemson would fit in and was already like an SEC team. He's ridiculous with his outdated show.

That’s a little morbid and extreme

Being outside of the SEC (or BIG10) is a disadvantage for any power-5 football program.

Being included is a total advantage compared to not being included.

This is a sport now where you can’t care about any of that. It’s about who’s making the right moves, in every way they can.

NIL deals, moving conferences, etc.

What you’re saying is something I agree with, and already know.

But again, Clemson and FSU pushed the ACC to reduce exit fee for after 2031.

Meaning Clemson wants a move sooner than later.

I put BIG10 in the title, even though I mostly talked of Clemson to the SEC in the post.

I enjoy the idea of Clemson being in the SEC. We are already hated by most SEC schools, so why not go ahead and get paid for it? I also think the SEC makes more sense baseball-wise in being a conference that cares about it similar to the ACC.
