Clemson versus Georgia Team Rankings since 2014

I keep reading on Tigernet that no one does less with more than the Bulldogs. So, I decided to check it out. Here are the team ranking comparisons since 2014 (247 Sports):
2014 GA 8 Clemson 14
2015 GA 6 Clemson 9
2016 GA 6 Clemson 11
2017 GA 3 Clemson 16
2018 GA 1 Clemson 7
2019 GA 2 Clemson 10
2020 GA 1 Clemson 3
2021 GA 4 Clemson 5
If the Georgia folks don't agree that they do less with more, they will have admit that Clemson does a LOT more with quite a bit less not just compared to Georgia but compared to any other team in the country.

Since UGA & Clemson didn't play each other during those years (except for 2014), that may not be the best comparison. Look at where each team's classes ranked relative to the teams they played. For example, in 2014, UGA had the 8th ranked class. That sounds pretty good until you realize that was the 6th ranked class in the SEC (Bama, LSU, A&M, Auburn, & Tenn were all higher). Clemson's class was 16th, which might not sound as good, but it was the 3rd best class in the ACC (only FSU & Mia were higher). Same in 2015 & 2016: UGA was 6th nationally both years, but 4th in the SEC both years; Clemson was 9th & 11th nationally but 2nd in the ACC both years.
Our recruiting took a huge step up starting in 2017, and our W-L record has improved as well. Clemson's recruiting likewise took a step up in 2018. Clemson has had the best class in the ACC 4 straight years now, and the 4 years before that only FSU & Miami had higher classes - and you've only played Miami twice in the last decade (both blowouts, btw).

True, but we've played all three more recently than you've played Miami. Plus there's Florida, who we do play every year, and they've had a higher class than FSU and/or Miami every one of those years.
