Oklahoma state got a 9 seed, 21-12, with a losing conference

Mar 16, 2014, 7:28 PM

record. 8-10. But yet they got a 9 seed in the NCAA! I mean wow. They have played some of the worst basketball in the last 2 months. They have been a laughing stock of BBALL! Yea i think there is some bias going into some of these selections! Im happy that clemson will be still playing, but i agree with coach K when he said, "CLEMSON and NCSTATE deserve to be in the NCAA because they are better than people think"

They beat Kansas last weekend

Plus lost their top player for several games

They are muuuuuch better team with him.

Losses due to missing a top player vs due to officiating

Mar 16, 2014, 7:50 PM

Seems to me that IF the selection commitee can take into account that a team lost a couple games because of a missing player,

they should be able to take into account a cpoule of losses because officiating

It was better when only tournament champs advanced to NCAA

meant EVERY team has their spot, because conference tourneys would be the first rounds of NCAA — No need for jugheads to decide

We didn't have Nnoko when we barely lost to Virginia at home

Mar 16, 2014, 8:17 PM

Do you think they took that into consideration? The fact is, when you are on the fringe of getting in, it is much like a beauty pageant. Next year, let's knock the door down.

Anybody actually believe we're not better than Nebraska or Dayton?

Mar 16, 2014, 7:35 PM

I think way to many Big10 and Big12 teams got in. Ok St is good but are they deserving of a bid? Is Nebraska? I'd put us in over several of those teams. +1 for having the gumption to say it.

I guess the positive is that we're still playing and we get to watch our guys play atleast one more. I love this team.

just stop embarrassing yourself...

Mar 16, 2014, 7:35 PM

OKST is not the team to call out when we didn't get a bid

lol i really hope u dont think im mad because clemson didnt get in. Im happy where clemson is. Im upset because a team that has lost 9 of its last 14 games just got a dang 9 seed. WAKE UP

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

clemson is

Mar 16, 2014, 7:40 PM [ in reply to just stop embarrassing yourself... ]

Our ooc record was horrible. We had RPI in 70s. No one to blame but clemson

I agree. We did challenge some good names though. Temple who went to the NCAA last year at 25-10 record didnt even win 10 games this year, Davidson is an NIT team this year, Auburn, Arkansas (21-11),UMASS (24-8) but i think that the stetson, SCstate, Francis marion, VMI, etc are who killed us. Way to many easy ones. Plus we didnt get in the BIG 10 challenge this year. Next year we should be in that one.
