He can make throws DJ can't.
That 20-yd out to the left to Williams, where he wasn't exactly rolling out left, but more drifting left, and then made that throw and didn't really even have his feet set.
At that point, I said directly to the TV screen out loud..."that's the reason why."
Just like that throw TL made against GT that day as a freshman.
I'm not coach...but it's like art...you know it when you see it.

Cade has a better throw.
You just had to watch them warm up before every game ... visitors sideline around the 15-35 yard lines.
Cade throw was faster, tighter, and tilted down
DJs throw was not as fast, slightly wobbled, and tilted up

He’s going to take those throws because he’s a confident assassin just like Deshaun. You can’t handcuff QBs like that he will learn with time but he’s not going to be scared to go for the jugular which we’ve severely been missing

There was just a glimpse of him huddling with the offense And coaches before he came out for first play
I knew then the game was going to be sweet
You could see from that little glimpse he was ready
You could also see the team respond

He just thinks faster, reads defense better and executed. Time will tell but he could be a great one.

Just kidding. I definitely thought the same. He made 3 throws in the first couple of drives that dj couldn't have made.
Hell, that RPO screen that was called on the first play was a play dj couldn't make

He's got that gunslinger feel Watson & TL had, but its so early on I'm still cautious. I believe he will be a great one, but he will definitely have some picks because of his approach (Watson had a decent number in 2016 if I remember correctly). But ability to drive the offense down the field aggressively is beautiful and he brings that energy we need. Shoot, even the defense seemed twice as motivated knowing they were getting the ball back for him vs. DJ. Maybe that's perception but I am so much more excited for next season than I felt this time last year.

you can afford to throw a pick or two. as long as you follow it up with a couple touchdowns, i.e. DW4, TL16, and TB10.
