I think Dabo will finally have to start getting a few guys in it to fill some voids. I'm sure there will always be a few that would be willing to come here. They don't have to be instant impact guys, but just guys to plug in and maybe they blossom and become a guy that makes a dif somewhere on the field.

are looking to go somewhere to be part of the depth? They are likely leaving a school where they were already in that situation and are looking for a destination where they can walk in and be the starter.

Freshman/Sophomore depth can end up being Junior/Senior starter. If the transfer is already an upperclassman, then they may have to take a chance and plan on working their way to starting position unless they want to go be a big fish in Elon or Western Carolina's small pond. Sometimes players transfer because the culture isn't a good fit. I think Clemson has a LOT to offer in this area.
The selection process is gonna be a lot of work, just like recruiting. But we have to do something. If Dabo doesn't get with the modern way of doing things we will get run over by programs that do.

he went from Michigan 3 years (played in 13 games, 6 in 2020 with a 56% completion rating, 5 TD and 6 Int) to Tennessee where he could not get a starting J-O-B... he is starting because Hooker is hurt.

Wide receiver screams the most to me. There are 4 receivers I've seen so far who would start for us at any position but maybe Williams' spot.

Roster management is going to become even more of a priority than it has been. And it's always been really important.
But now recruiting is going to be a four year project for the players you initially signed.
You likely won't have a lot of stories like Mario Goodrich last year, a player that was in the doghouse early but came around with time and really did well his senior year.

The fate of the program comes down to these next few weeks. We are losing so much to the portal. We simply have to replace them with guys from the portal. We cannot rely on low level recruiting projects that won't be ready to contribute.

6 or 7 guys is "alot" ? Look at the depth chart where these guys are? DJ is a graduate, he is the only one who would be a "starter" of the group that left. Pace is not going to take from Shipley or Mahfa, he would split reps with Mahfa and add depth if either of them got hurt (which is a possibility). He wants more reps, do you blame him? Swint is the other one who maybe should have stayed but he knows far more than we know.

there may be some o-Line depth from Stanford, Hinton & Dimuni ... both are upper classmen though, but if they can hack Stanford under Shaw they would probably fit here...
Speaking of Shaw, he would be great add to the staff here.
