The coastal is clearly down. I mean VT is a shell of its former self. UNC seems distracted with their constant violations. GT is running an offense that seems to be wearing thin and their D is in need of a new cord(Ellis Johnson??) and cant stop jack. Duke is up and coming and it seems Cutcliffe is at least facing them in the right direction. Miami...see UNC. I think Clemson would really mesh better on this side. The atlantic is loaded. FSU..need i say more. You have an NCST team that is just red hot and will probably land a great coach, hopefully not our Chad!! I think our Off would fall apart and a new Off cord would come in scratching their heads at the amazing schemes we run. You have Wake who is really solid, Maryland who is on the up and up and a Boston College team that is just plain Hungry. It seems with the news of Lville joining the ACC today that it is not disbanding at the rate we thought. I really dont know what to say, this years schedule was a pisser for us. week after week we play teams that push us to the limit and then there is the Coots. I think beating them in Cola next year is going to be darn near impossible especially considering who we may lose. Taij is a Heisman calaber QB and I see him projected as coming off the board quickly. Nuke would be a #### fool not to leave this year and Dalton "fear the beard" freemon is gone gone gone. Coots lose alot on Def but as long as #7 is there(which is one more year) I dont see us turning the corner on these city slickers. I have been showing my Clem pride despite our reaming sat night and catching hell from the coots in my office and around town. We are pawsome...always have been always will be. Anywho what do yall think about switching divisions??

Hey UNC got killed last night by Indiana. I dont know Basketball is young as of now but UNC is not impressing me. Clems game tonight will be telling. We HAVE to beat USuCk in Basketball Sunday and gain some sense of normalcy back. We couldnt beat those guys in paper football right now. They really have our number between fball, mens and womens basketball and should I even mention baseball...I just did. Those guys own us! While I still think we are pawsome and will rep Clemson until Im in my orange pine box lowered in my shallow grave, its getting hard folks...its getting hard indeed to take these yearly drubbings.

Where to start?
-GT's scoring offense is top-25 nationally and 4th in conference.
-That "red hot" NC State team just fired their coach and lost by 40 to Virginia.
-the solid Wake team went 5-7 this year and will miss a bowl.
-I guess you could call BC hungry?
-Maryland is leaving the division/conference
I agree the Atlantic is tougher this year but that's only because Clemson and FSU are in it. The Coastal will get better. But still, I don't know where you pull half of this from.

I forgot about Maryland leaving, good point! Im sure glad they are, I heard they have a real gun slinger coming in there. Much better than that blond curly head freak who ripped us apart in the valley a few years ago. Good ridance Maryland, go beat up on some other teams and leave us be!!

...it would be wise for the ACC to reconfigure to more region-friendly divisions.
1. Give the Atlantic Miami to make up for losing Maryland. Give us GTech for BC, and move Louisville into the Coastal so VTech will actually have a strong football program to play. We'll take either Duke or UNC, just so they can be division rivals.
That would make the divisions:
Atlantic: Clemson, Miami, FSU, GTech, NC State, Wake and UNC/Duke.
Coastal: Syracuse, Pitt, Louisville, UNC/Duke, VTech, Virginia and BC.
The same 6/1/1 conference game schedule. The difference is less travel.

As well as the rest of that sentence ending with BC team that is just plain hungry. Besides I don't think its up to T-netters to decide the divisions. Sorry.

Don't be such a negative Nelson and a grumpy gertrude I know it's not up to us fans. I just want to run the table one year dag nabbit! Teams like wake fsu Maryland and nc st are mighty and keep tripping us up! Can't wait to get another shot at a sec team in a bowl. Bring it LSU or A&M we will eat your lunch!!
