Can we retire the WR screen this year?

Oct 23, 2021, 8:07 PM

How many times do we need to see this play go for a loss before not calling it 3-4 times a game?

And that long pass to the sideline, with the defender standing two yards away from our receiver, licking his chops.

Never works because our wideouts can't block, don't even know the fundamentals. Ajou is helpless, clearly does not understand his assignment.

hard to believe he can't block a cb. I hate to throw shade on the guy but he doesn't seem to be with it to me.

It worked good with David Allen last week at Cuse…it sucks with Ross because he always goes outside…we should give it up with Ross…absolutely…but it’s a glorified sweep looking for 3-5 yards…throw it to someone who will turn it up immediately and get 3-5…Ross ain’t that guy…not gonna to
Speculate as th why he isn’t but I think it’s pretty obvious!!!

In order for the WR screen to work, there must be at least one block thrown by another WR. For some reason, the Clemson WRs are not aware of that fact.
