True statement!!! Dabo is a good mentor, great ambassador of Clemson and has won the big ones. He knew how to do it twice, can he muster the testosterone to make another run?
He should hire Saban as asst coach for 1yr and half his salary. Saban was always fired up, maybe he can #### dabo off and build some passion again.

At season's end their will be 10-15 coaches making 10-12 million per season tvat have a better record? Nobody is better than Dabo makes yiu downs dtupid!! That in itself is Clemson's problem. They worship a man and put him.above the institution.

Give me $11 mil and I’ll find Clemson a HC that can do just as good a job as Dabo. Time has come here to move on…find a young guy who has had success and can recruit the entire east coast.

We were there though and it was lucky. We aren't paying 60 million to fire him. We dont have that money. No chance. If we lost everything other game this year there would be not even the slimmest chance he would be fired.

Yeah we suck. I get that part. I am just giving you a partial reason why he would have more time. That and the 60 million dollars to fire him. Might as well just spend 30 million extra on the NIL and keep Dabo.

That makes one remember what Nebraska did when they fired Frank Solich in the early 2000s. He was no longer in the title hunt, was having 8-4 and 9-3 seasons, so they fired him to "get back to elite". And their program promptly fell off a cliff for 20 years

$8M this year. I looked up his record in national championships and playoff games. It was not as good as Dabo's. But he's still making $8M this year.
So maybe it's about free market economics -- the market paying what it'll pay.

You do realize that you would have to pay him and a new coach if firing Dabo were even remotely an option. He could go 1-11 and he isn’t getting fired. Your 11M becomes 16M for the head coach salary.
