all of the criticism and very hateful spiteful comments by so many fans. DJ has had to deal with doubt by the fans for 2 seasons. Maybe if he had received more support he would have performed better.
Still DJ has won some big games for. He is on the bench no so can fans stop beating up on him.
How would some of like it if you boss rode your butt everyday at work and on social media too!

DJ I want to thank for coming to Clemson, the effort and hard work you put in to improve as our QB. I hope you will come back next season. My prayers are with as you have battled adversity for 2 season’s.
I don’t think we should try to runoff any players. Maybe that measure up to the standards we hoped. But to post some of the comments by Clemson fans has been embarrassing. If a player leaves we should wish him well.
Sometimes fans can lose prospective and in target a player posting spiteful comments on several social media sites.
Which ever decision you make next season I wish you the best.

My boss expects results and I expect results. Results matter in the real world a lot more than feelings. Adages like Best is the Standard go for everyone or they don’t matter to anyone. I wish DJ the best and I hope he uses his Clemson education to become a titan in his chosen profession and earn all the money he wants.

Cade has not played enough to evaluate him properly. But even though DJ had some bad games which some of the all of the mistakes were not on DJ fans still blamed him. DJ also had some really good games.
I am not coddling any players. But I am not going to run them in the ground either. Their kids. How would you feel if you kid played for Clemson and negatively targeted every week!

Cades also had to deal with very little game reps or live competition. This was a coaching gaffe not playing him more...its thats simple.
