Cade actually has best QB stats in country

3

Oct 20, 2024, 6:43 PM

All things considered. Has thrown 20 TD and 3 INT. Cam has thrown more TD (25) but has a worse TD-INT ratio since he's thrown 5 picks.

Cade has the highest TD-INT ratio in the country outside of Navy QB (10 TD - 1 INT) and Army QB (7 TD - 0 INT), but I don't really count them considering the systems they run and limited # of pass attempts.

Cade is 5th in ESPN's QBR and has highest TD-INT ratio in the entire country for his # of attempts. Dude is crushing it.

That was definitely a bone-headed INT yesterday. Looked like last few yrs with Cade and DJU, when we needed a drive we just throw it to a defensive player. Cade saved that from being a TD all day!

Why you wanna focus on one negative play out the whole year?

Haha I was just about to say this. The point of my post is that

According to statistics, nobody in the country is making better decisions with the football than Cade.

Even including the bad interception yesterday.

Well we all seen how he played against the only defense we have played with a pulse. Love the optimism but we need to beat somebody and only have a ranked Pitt team on our remaining schedule. The ACC has been bad but this year it seems it’s even worse.

You're missing the point. We played this exact level of competition last year

And Cade was almost last in the country. I don't need to see any more games to realize that the improvement this kid has made is unlike any leap I've ever seen at this level.

And yes, of course he will need to continue down the stretch for it to truly matter. But it's unbelievable how much better he's playing. Regardless of opponent.

Not focusing, and gave him props for making a play to save the TD. It was the most obvious bone-headed play he had made this year which is great! He has played fantastic in comparison to last year. My point was that only 1 of 3 INTs were from bone-headed mistake where last year he made several of them and it was common during DJU days.

And my point is that he's arguably the #1 QB in nation right now

I think you're underselling the differences from last year to this year.

Let's see if he can continue it down the stretch.

Underselling? All I said was he had a bone-headed INT. He would tell you the same, just listen to his post-game interview. I'm a huge Cade fan, even when ppl wanted Pearman to start, I called them idiots!
