Obviously All have a gun to their head and cannot say a word about Brownell. I remember the Days when those guys could actually speak their minds, they would be blasting Brownell right now, lol. I remember they were all crushing Tommy Bowden right before he was fired

How long has Walt been on WCCP. I started listening around 2015 or so. Would have love to have heard them in the Bowden and early Dabo days.

He started about 15 years ago, and I remember when Tommy Bowden was tanking, he and the other announcers were just blasting Bowden, you’ll never hear that today

So if people don't agree with you they "have a gun to their head"?
Maybe they're like the overwhelming majority of Tigernet posters--they are silent, because they hope that BB and his guys find a way to finish well, even though it looks like tough sledding.
BTW, I don't stalk you, so I don't know--have you even once publicly acknowledged the great hustle the team played with last night? Did you see how motivated they were? Did it look like BB has "lost the team"?
If you have, you have my respect for being fair-minded. If you haven't, isn't that proof that you only care about Wins, Losses, and your personal affirmation of having Talking Heads agree with you?

No Brad, you can just hear their voice what they wanna say, they want to criticize the team but they’re not allowed to anymore, it’s obvious. I’m as big of a Clemson fan as you can find, and I love Clemson basketball, and I cannot stand with Brad Brownell has done to our program. It’s just mediocre, he does just enough, and that drives me crazy. I’d rather take a chance with a guy who may put it straight in the tank, than year after year of just been OK. I don’t give a crap of the players are hustling, they are on scholarship and their job is to play hard, and they deserve a coach who can lead them to victory, not botch the end of games constantly and get beat by mediocre teams

Walt spent most of the days show today with a red herring argument about PJ Hall and him being an all Acc player. (Which actually hurts his defending of Brownell if we have a player of suck quality and are still 4-11 in the ACC).
Walt has called far better coaches than Brownell losers before and has no hesitation declaring some “suck”. I remember he used to think Scott Drew was bad. He goes on his annual Izzo is overrated rant every March and yet somehow Brownell avoids any critique

Yeah, it is kind of odd how this morning, Mickey spent 45 talking about golf and soccer yet wouldn’t bring up Mens Basketball (BB). Regardless of your opinions on Brad, it is kind of obvious that the powers to be of WCCP have put out a “gag order” on Brad. You can’t get 6 people to agree on whether the sun is shining or not. So for all of them to either dodge the issue or defend him makes one think they aren’t willing to rock the boat being the flagship station. It’s similar to ABC,NBC,CBS,CNN,MSNBC refusing to cover Hillary’s watergate scandal in relation to Trump and Russia.
It really weakens WCCP’s legitimatcy in relation to covering Clemson sports

-- One year removed from going to the NCAA Tournament
-- Signed an extension last fall
-- New AD has been on the job less than three months
I listened to The Roar some earlier this week. It is amazing the number of callers who ##### about the Clemson basketball team who have never attended a Clemson basketball game. It is frustrating and nobody likes losing. Nobody. But I have seen just give in a little bit one time this season -- the second half of the ND game last Saturday. It is a bottom line world, but this team has not quit and they won't quit on CBB.

Agree the players play hard. PJ is awesome. With the departures from last year, this team is simply not very talented and not very deep. Neff has a tough task fresh into his new role.
