Was Lolo was butt hurt at the end? She was in the lane by Brianna and never acknowledged or congratulated her during the tv coverage after the race. The second and third place women did. I'm sure LJ was disappointed but usually you see a little more sportsmanship shown

I think she was, although she did make a statement later that the top 3 deserved it. I wasn't too impressed with Lolo at the Olympics.
If you watch the video full screen you can see Lolo drift over into Brianna's lane and actually hit the hurdles at least twice.

Why is Lolo Jones famous at all?

First, congrats Brianna, awesome run. As to Lolo, I was wondering during last year's Olympics why she was getting so much attention, and I'm still wondering. She's been active for 2 Olympics and 4 World Championships (including the upcoming one), and has never won any medal. None. Zero. Zilch. Dawn Harper in the same time frame and same event won Olympic gold and silver, and WC bronze, and has a faster personal best, but is much less well known.

B) She, at one time, was at the top of her field. In fact, had she not clipped the second to last hurdle in Beijing, she would have won Gold (that's why she was covered so much in London). It's unfortunate, not just for her, but any Olympian in a sport that has a relatively short life span. If you mess up once, it is very difficult to stay at peak level for four more years to have another shot.
