What I don't like is Brent and Chad Morris before that

stealing Dabo's and Clemson's culture, and sayings for their programs. Come up with your own shat and run with it. So yeah, I'm hating on him. Brent also stole some of our coaches and recruits as well.

I suspect those coaches that went with him had a choice to stay or go. They opted to go...

You honestly think Dabo is anything other than proud that BV took any sayings and culture with him? It’s freaking words for goodness sake.
You say he took recruits, but I only remember one. Who were the others?
It’s also pretty natural for a coach to take guys with him that he worked with. It gives those coaches promotions and potential bigger opportunities to move up. Assistant coaches change jobs all the time. It isn’t that serious.
BV played a huge part in us winning 2 NC’s and multiple conferences championships, and CFP appearances. You’re telling me all that is overshadowed in your eyes because 1 recruit left with him along with a few assistant coaches and catchphrases?

Doesn’t help with what Lincoln did on his way out. Bolted and took the best player with him. They took huge hits last year.

Very few like Dabo who went 19-15 over his 1st 3 yrs with Tigers. Give BV a few games with new team.

I did take a peak at Oklahomas schedule, but if they keep playing they way they are they might not win another game this year. Maybe West Virginia. 4 win season might be realistic for them if they don’t right the ship right now.

The difference is Dabo didn't have a stocked full cupboard when he took over. Clemson was mediocre in the ACC at that point. The Sooners have been by far the best team in the Big 12 recruiting and on the field for 10+ years. His cupboard is stocked. He needs time, I'm not disputing that but that acting like its a fair comparison isn't being honest. I honestly feel this is EXACTLY what BV was always saying when people asked why he had not left for other jobs. He knew how much of a difference it was going to be making the jump from DC to HC. There's a LOT more plates to keep spinning and a get back guy isn't going to help.

This opinion is based upon his first 5 games as a head coach?

OU lost 13 players to the portal, many of them key players. They brought in 10 through the portal. That’s pretty much chaos when you add it to an incoming freshman class. I loved BV at Clemson and wish him no ill will.

Yea I don’t see how anyone could say or have any ill will against him. He way loyal to Clemson. The coaches that left obviously wasn’t happy at Clemson. Bates was upset he didn’t get the Coordinator position. And we loss a linebacker who was a late commitment.
