I finished season 4 and really liked it until the very end with the plant in walt yard and I don’t care for season 5 so far only 3 episodes in. I think how walt is now is dumb, it ruins the whole point of the show and the character. Season 5 feels forced and I read that it was originally supposed to end with 4 and that scene with the plant was put in late as a plot twist to keep the show going. Is this a thing that fans don’t like season 5 or am I missing something? Also is better call Saul worth watching when I’m done with BB?

I think I'm the only person who doesn't like Breaking Bad.

Literally from episode 1 I had problems with it.

It begins with Walter in the desert with no pants, holding a gun, while sirens approach. Then it cuts to "two weeks earlier" or whatever. This is a lazy gimmick and they used it way too much. When you finally understand why and how he ended up at that point, it isn't interesting.

Also in the first episode, we're introduced to Jesse when Walter sees him crawling out a bedroom window as a woman's husband comes home. Too cartoonish and cliche for me.

The worst thing, though, was when they're panning around Walter's office - bear in mind, he's a high school teacher and works part time at a car wash - and on his shelf is a goddamn NOBEL PRIZE FOR CHEMISTRY. Like what?!

Final gripe: I forget if it was season 2 or 3, but all season the episodes would begin with a burned teddy bear in a swimming pool. Sometimes it'd be in color, sometimes in black and white, sometimes they'd show a bit more than they had before. It's the same gimmick from the pilot stretched out over an entire season. So finally you get to the finale where it's revealed that Walter let Jesse's girlfriend die, which upset her dad, who's an air traffic controller, who couldn't focus because of his grief, which caused a mid-air collision, which rained debris including the bear directly onto Walter's house. bertstare.jpg
