Jeff will get help from Brad

.. Wait and see, Brad Scott was the most wanted OC when he was at FSU, then made the horrible decision to goto Columbia, we're all allowed to make misakes . He then vindicated himself by coming to Clemson, now that he has been off the sidelines, don't you think there was a reason DABO kept him around? No he will not be OC but I bet he has studied the offense and will be there to help Jeff. That being Jeff will probably have advisors but I doubt he needs it, the guy has it in his blood.

to recruit and coordinate recruiting.
Love the Scott's and what they have brought to Clemson but I personally don't like Brad's style of Coaching. His O lines were some of the weakest we have had... Just look at 2008 vs Alabama.
Brad has a job and he does it well. There is a reason he is no longer coaching.
Just my personal opinion. I'm sure I will get flamed but oh well.

Brad Scott is/was an all time great play caller.

You are right on the OL, and while I won't put all that blame at his feet he takes some of it. That said, if you remember the turn around pretty much starting with USC then Tenn in the bowl game you'd understand how the man knows offensive football.

Yes, he did know offensive football but I would not like

to go backward with our program.
Again... I respect the man and am glad he came to Clemson. However, in the last years of his coaching, something was missing.
There was a reason he has the job he has now and he does it well.

Valid opinion, lines were not his strong point, but that's why we have who we have now. However I think the man can call some plays and I know Jeff probably got that ability over the years.
Whatever Dabo decides in I'm down with, however I think we will be fine if it's Jeff, he has a ton of resources.

with Jeff Scott also. He has had some greats to tutor him and has been around winning football all his life.
The future is bright for Clemson!
Go Tigers.

I think we already had a couple years of Brad as O.C. If memory serves me correctly, our offense sucked under Scott. I do not really think it was so much his fault as it was Tommy trying to make him run a scheme he really did not like, but who Knows?

Ok to clarify I am not saying Brad will be OC. I am saying that Jeff will have a nice support system in place, including his father that won a NC at FSU, coached a headman winner in Charlie Ward and so on...
Just trying to tell all the doom and gloomers that Fear Jeff getting the job, we will be ok.
